Findagrave as Research Repository

For some time I have been a contributor to Findagrave.com.  Although it is primarily a genealogy site, it's also a great place to find and share historical information and photos of individuals where other historical researchers  can find it.  Recently I've begun using their "virtual cemeteries" utility that allows users to link individuals in any way the user can imagine.  Here are a few of my VCs covering aspects of Western Washington History:

Where is Poverty Flats?

I recently came across several sources providing information on the numerous public schools that existed in Thurston County. Often early accounts of the area mention obscure school names as reference points for events, necessitating a detour into researching school locations. Over the course of a few evenings I've compiled the information I have into a Google Map for quick reference, showing locations of these schools as close as I am able to determine. This will be an ongoing project- please feel free to link this map and/or share information and I'll gladly add it to the map.
